POWER CRISIS HITS HOME!
Gladesville, Lane Cove Blackouts!
THE WEEKLY TIMES SPECIAL EDITORIAL
Homes in Gladesville, Lane Cove, Chatswood and Cherrybrook were
among 40,000 homes that lost electric power during Sunday's near record
high January temperature.
This is a result of the failure of State and Federal governments to face the reality of ensuring
adequate power generating facilities and succumbing to the madness of renewable
sources such as wind and solar.
NSW energy minister Don Harwin had 1he gall to comment 1hat it was satisfactory considering 1he circumstances.
What absolute nonsense and codswallop.
lns1ead of blabbering and boasting he should be hanging his head in shame. Along with 1he rest of 1he dunderheads
in the Berejiklian government who prefer to demolish sports stadiums instead of Investing in the basic
power needs of the community.
