The new Alliance Francaise centre in Chatswood would like to
hear from Hunters Hill students who would be interested in learning
French.
Hunters Hill is known
as Sydney’s French Village
and has a Friendship
Agreement with
the Parisian town of
Le Vesinet as well as a
Le Vesinet friendship
group that organises
student exchanges between
the two heritage
municipalities.
Alliance Française
de Sydney is an independent,
not-for-profit,
language and cultural
organisation promoting
Franco-Australian exchange
since 1895.
“After more than 115
years in the CBD we
have decided to cross
the bridge to bring
French to the North
Shore,” the team at Alliance
Francaise said.
“As high school and
primary school courses
are one of our priorities,
we are currently working
on building such a
timetable and schedule.
“We would now like to
gather more information
regarding your availability
and the types of
courses that focuses
only on high school and
primary school courses.
“Our vibrant courses
suit all levels of competency,
ages and
schedules and the Alliance
ranaise offers
you the perfect French
class designed for your
needs!”
