The dogs belong to the city council animal management team and have all been trained and tested for health, safety and temperament. The dogs listen attentively and do not laugh, judge or criticise. Osteoporosis is a serious condition ...but research shows it can be reversed! Osteoporosis is not taken as a serious condition by most people! Most people don’t realise they have osteoporosis until a fracture happens, as there are usually no signs or symptoms. Fractures can commonly be debilitating with chronic pain and can lead to early mortality. Fractures kill more women than all gynaecological cancers put together and one in six women taken to hospital with a hip fracture, will not come out alive and men fare even worse.
