Teddy Bear Picnic<br />

Tuesday, 1pm-3pm<br />

The Woolston Community<br />

Centre will host a fun afternoon<br />

for children and their teddy<br />

bears. There will be a picnic and<br />

prizes, donated by Phillipstown<br />

Pharmacy, for the different teddy<br />

bears. Take some snacks and<br />

enjoy a fun afternoon. Go down<br />

to Woolston Park, located next<br />

to Te Waka Unua School, to take<br />

part in the day. If the weather<br />

is in doubt, it will be held in the<br />

community centre next to the<br />

park.<br />

MARKET DAY: The Opawa Farmers’ Market runs every Sunday, 9am until noon, rain or shine,<br />

and has many different products on offer. Pick up some fresh produce for your pantry.<br />

Whether you just need something for dinner or want to fill up on your favourites, the market<br />

has it all. There is a lot on offer, including artisan bread, French-style pastries, free-range eggs,<br />

locally-made Italian cheeses, fresh fruit and vegetables and many other treats. The market is<br />

The Nerd Degree: I Want My<br />

The Nerd Degree consists of a<br />

panel of comedians answering<br />

week, the two comedic teams<br />

will discuss things that belong<br />

in the museum and pop culture<br />

horror. Tickets are available<br />

Reading to Dogs<br />

Designed to provide a relaxed,<br />

non-threatening atmosphere,<br />

audience for children. The dogs<br />

have all been trained and tested<br />

for health and temperament.<br />
