<strong>The</strong> Christchurch City Council invites proposals from<br />
interested parties for the operation of a cafe business<br />
within the new Council owned building known as Te<br />
Hapua: Halswell Centre.<br />
This popular community facility opened in November<br />
2015 and an exciting opportunity exists for a café<br />
business to service the adjoining library, pool and<br />
community spaces.<br />
It is proposed to grant a lease over the premises<br />
consisting of; a self contained kitchen/counter space,<br />
an internal dining section and an external decking<br />
area - providing a total leased area of 114m2.<br />
<strong>The</strong> lease term will total 9 years (renewals inclusive)<br />
and submissions under the Request for Proposals<br />
close at noon on the 3 August <strong>2016</strong>.<br />
