The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery and Noel Leeming will open their doors in late 2017, providing the community with access to a wide range of products in up to 7,200sqm of floor space. Bought in 2014, the site is being jointly developed by Eldamos Investments and Rolleston Retail Limited and will include the three stores amongst a range of other new outlets planned for the site. The Warehouse and Warehouse Stationery CEO Pejman Okhovat says “The Warehouse store has been designed as a modernised, one-stop family shopping destination and will be double the size of the existing store in Rolleston; offering the community access to a wider complement of products, including a garden centre.” “Warehouse Stationery will provide customers with a range of stationery, art and craft, and technology devices, as well as print and copy services,” he says. Jeff Vesey, leasing agent for Rolleston Retail says in addition to The Warehouse Group stores, there will be a range of retail, service and health tenants. “Pent up demand for Rolleston retail space has seen high levels of enquiry including close to 40 food operators vying for the five food spaces available,” said Mr Vesey. Pejman Okhovat says he’s excited by the new development and looks forward to The Warehouse Group brands’ continuing their great relationship with the growing Rolleston community. “We’re thrilled to offer some great bargains to the Rolleston community across our new stores – whether it be the latest homewares and day to day essentials, office and school gear, print and copy services or the latest technology. “We already have a great relationship with the local community here and we’re excited to continue that and expand our store network in this growing area,” he says. The Rolleston Noel Leeming store will be home to a range of whiteware, television and audio, and leading technology products including drones, devices and wearable technology. All products will be supported by Noel Leeming’s passionate experts. CEO Tim Edwards says the store layout will be designed to maximise the customer shopping experience. “We’re delighted to open in Rolleston for the first time and look forward to offering the community access to a range of big brands, as well as other leading appliances and technology all within an interactive space.” Across the Group, the new stores plan to employ approximately 60 full time team members.
