Clubs & Associations Profile BRENTWOOD COMPUTER CLUB Brentwood Computer Club was founded way back in 1980. We are a small club dedicated to sharing and learning everything computer related. The club meet every Wednesday evening from 7:30pm at Bardswell Social Club, Bardswell Close, Brentwood CM14 4TJ. Our members are a friendly bunch of men and women of mixed ages from beginners to more knowledgeable. All newcomers are welcome to come along and join in on a trial basis. We are a social and informal club with a self help philosophy. Most meetings are “Hands on computers” members do their own thing using the clubs or their own computer or tablet, a good chance to ask questions and solve problems. Members have various projects which they work on, including digital photography, music programs, family tree research to name a few. Once a month we have a forum meeting when members can put their computer problems to the meeting and get help with ideas from the other members. We also have occasional speakers, proposed upcoming talks include; a talk on Smart Phones and their phone apps, a talk from a wildlife photographer with amazing pics and a talk on drones. If you would like to know more please contact our membership Secretary Graham Hollingsworth on 01277 821308 or grahamhollingsworth1@hotmail.co.uk or Roland Neville the club Chairman on photospasm@aol.com or just come along any Wednesday evening.
