How did you start playing hockey? I first started when my dad took me to pre-skate when I was little. He signed me up for a mini-hockey program. I really started to like it and I just started going on and on. I got to where I am now. What is the most challenging part of the sport? Being really small and being a freshman now playing against senior and kids who are bigger and stronger than you. It’s a lot to try and be faster and quicker to get away from guys that can smash me. What is it like playing with your brother on the same team? It’s really fun. I helped play for his team once when he played Falcons in house league. It was really fun, we were really good together. Now, playing with him and a lot of other close friends is really fun. I get to see them a lot every day. What is a personal goal of yours for the season? For the team I want to do well in the state tournament, which would be really nice for the team. Personally, as a first year on varsity, for points for myself I wanted to get to 20 points for my first year which would be nice to have. How many points do you have for the season now? I think I’m at like 15 or 16. We have another six or seven games, too. Do you have any superstitions before playing a game? I used to have to listen to music all the time before games but as I’ve gotten older that’s kind of faded. What is your favorite food? 22nd Century Media File Photo My favorite food is probably waffles. I like to go to Walker Brothers a lot, that’s my favorite restaurant to go to and get waffles. What is something people don’t know about you? This is something really, really random. I can solve a triangular rubix cube. If you could have dinner with anyone living or dead, who would it be? I’d probably like to have dinner with Le’Veon Bell, he’s a football player. I would choose a Steven Stamkos or someone in hockey but I feel like Le’Veon Bell, I’ve always liked him. He also went to my favorite college which is Michigan State. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? I think I’d chose Italy, especially like Sicily or Venice or something. My mom’s side of the family all of their relatives came from there. I think it would kind of cool to see where they came from.
