Browns Angus Ranch 2018 Online

BROWN’S ANGUS RANCH 4115 Hwy. 25 Center, North Dakota 58530 20th Comments From The Sale Manager: 20TH ANNUAL ANGUS PRODUCTION SALE What an exciting day, Sunday, February 11, 2018 plans to be as we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Brown’s Angus Ranch Annual Angus Production Sale at the ranch west of Center, North Dakota. I have recently been to the Brown Angus herd and I was really impressed with the 2018 sale offering. They have an exceptional set of bulls and foundation females. The Brown’s have a very practical program and one that is on the move headlined by the famous donor, SAV Abigale 5646, who is known as the dam of the $95,000 SAV Eliminator 9105. With the ongoing demand for Angus genetics, this sale represents real opportunity. Please note that many have 3/4 and 7/8’s and flush brothers will highlight this event. This offering is the best one in 20 years from Brown Angus. It is a pleasure and privilege to work with the entire Brown family in the presentation this sale offers. If any of us at the American Angus Hall of Fame can be of assistance in any way, please feel free to contact us. We are looking forward to seeing you sale day Sincerely, Tom Burke Kurt Schaff Jeremy Haag SALE MANAGER: American Angus Hall of Fame - (816) 532-0811 Tom Burke (816) 853-2697 Kurt Schaff (816) 520-6447 Jeremy Haag (816) 516-1309

BROWN’S ANGUS RANCH 4115 Hwy. 25 Center, North Dakota 58530 Kelan & Holly Brown Justin, Kayla, Brooklynn, Parker & Braxton Brown Shae & Jenny Brown Kelan, Justin, Paul & Shae Brown Fellow cattleman, We would like to take this opportunity to personally invite you to our up coming production sale, which will mark our 20th year selling Angus seedstock. We also would like to send a sincere thank you to all our past customers and welcome any new and potential customers. We are a 100% family run operation and we value each and every one of you! We believe in the value of our commitment to the Angus breed. We are continuously studying and have laid our eyes on cattle all over the country. We are motivated to provide you with the genetics and advice that will help you stay in business for the long haul. This year’s bull and female offerings are from the top 50% of the calf crop. We culled very hard this year to offer you more front-end bulls and females then ever before. The bulls were weaned in mid-September, which is the earliest we have ever weaned them. We feel this gave them the advantage to grow up and mature sooner, which in turn allowed us to move our sale date forward. We have selected these bulls and females on offering with you in mind. We selected for overall performance, phenotype and productivity. We believe a cow should produce 50% of her body weight or more. We believe it’s the best way to keep our inputs low while maximizing our end product. This great 20th Annual offering will suit anyone’s needs. We have larger framed growth and calving ease bulls that excel in the feedlot as well as them more moderate framed bulls that get the job done on the range land. We once again will be offering sons and grandsons from our leading-edge donors. We strongly believe in flushing superior females and offering full brothers and half brothers to allow you, the customer, to get a more uniform calf crop. Not very many other operations give you the opportunity to buy multiple full brothers. We have continued to flush the great SAV Abigale 5646 and have some exciting mating’s coming from her this spring. We also added in another highly productive donor to our pen, SAV Emblynette 6001. She raised the top weaning weight bull in 2012 for Schaff Angus Valley and went on and sold for a price of $31,000. She is averaging over $15,000 on her past progeny sales. We are offering for the first time in the history of our production sales the opportunity to buy embryos/flushes from these great donor cows on the ranch. We strive to breed top quality Angus cattle that work for the commercial breeder and the registered seedstock operations. We don’t select based on EPD’s or data that isn’t proven. We select genetics that are the deep bodied easy fleshing type that work in anyone’s environment. We place very high standards on udder quality, foot structure, and longevity. We don’t want to help calves nurse, we don’t trim feet on our cows or bulls, and we want them to last us well into their teens. Overall, this is the most powerful set of ET and AI sired bulls we have ever put together. We are offering about 90% AI sired bulls along with some AI sired females again. We hope to see you on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 2pm CST at the Ranch in our NEW HEATED BARN! Feel free to call us at anytime with questions or if you would like to stop on by and take a look at this year’s sale offering. Once again, the sale will be held online for those of you who can not attend. Check it out online at Videos will be posted for all sale lots prior to the sale.
