In 2016 The Foundation had a great impact on the community by donating over $25,000 for college scholarships in the Fulshear-Simonton area and grants to various community organizations, attached you’ll find the 2016 Distribution Summarization. WLWA was forced to cancel our annual fundraiser, the 5K Run due to Hurricane Harvey. If you’ve given to or participated in the 5K Run in the past we would welcome donations or volunteers to contact the Co- Chairs listed below in an effort to raise funds for the 2017-18 High School Graduates on their way to college. The WLWA Foundation is holding a “Casino Night” Fundraising event February 3, 2018. Please consider supporting your community and this event by donating items or services for the Live/Silent Auction, Raffle Prizes or donating funds as an Event Underwriter/Sponsor assisting us to make this event a success. In the 16 years since 2000, the generosity of others has enabled us to distribute over $575,000 to deserving students and organizations. By donating, you’ll be making a tax deductible donation ensuring that we can continue to give back to our community. Naturally, your donation will be recognized on our Facebook Page, published articles and promotional materials prior to “Casino Night” and in the WLWA’s Lady Luck Casino Event Program. Thanks in advance for all the help, please contact the Co-Chairs for any questions.
