There is so much noise or distractions in your daily life, it is very important for your spiritual growth to spend time everyday being still and quiet seeking God. The ABCs of Spiritual Growth you’ll know that He is God”. Yes, all that you seek is in His presence. “Seek me first” and then, “all these things”, or “All you seek will be added or given to you.” This is the benefit of your quiet time. It’s like this, He first want to have a one-on-one relationship with you so you can get to know Him. You would not expect a stranger to give you many gifts if you don’t know him now, would you? This is what God is saying to you. It is in your quiet time with Him that you will begin to know Him and begin forming a personal relationship with Him. It is also then He will begin to show you things new things that you did not even know about (revelation). 43
