1910 Cat & Fiddle - 24 th of September Map Key 10 Hubert at the controls of the 20 hp Manchester Automobile Club closed the season with a hill climb on the Macclesfield-Buxton road near the famous Cat & Fiddle, the highest public house in England. This Public house is the backdrop to the famous photograph of Rolls Royce Silver ghosts making their way to Glasgow for the 1907 Scottish Reliability Trial. The Cat and fiddle hill was a new hill climb course ¾ mile in length, with an average one in seven gradient. Fastest Time of the Day was achieved by Hubert Woods on the 20 hp.
