MasterChef Darfield High-style<br />

THE HOUSE family came<br />
away victorious from<br />
Wednesday night’s MasterChef<br />
cooking competition hosted by<br />
the Darfield High School year<br />
13 commerce class.<br />
The competition was part<br />
of a product launch for the<br />
class’ cookbook Secret Family<br />
Recipes.<br />
The House family is the<br />
host family for class member<br />
Bilguun Norjinkhand.<br />
Mayor Sam Broughton made<br />
an appearance to chat to the<br />
students about the process of<br />
getting the recipes together and<br />
getting the book printed.<br />
Mr Broughton thought the<br />
night was “really good” and has<br />
pre-ordered a book for himself.<br />
The book contains a recipe<br />
submitted by him.<br />
Student Christopher Moffat<br />
said: “The night ran a lot<br />
smoother than we thought it<br />
would.”<br />
