Go along to the inaugural Prebbleton clothes swap. The
event gives people the opportunity to take along anything they
don’t wear, have never worn or are tired of wearing and swap
them for something new – well, new to them. It’s a bit of a lucky
dip but that’s part of the fun. The event already has more than
200 clothing pieces to swap. Gently worn shoes, handbags,
jewellery, scarves and unopened beauty products can also be
taken along. All clothes need to be clean and in good condition,
no socks or undies. A minimum of five items to swap per person
and clothes need to be dropped off prior to the event. To
arrange a time to drop off clothes phone 349 3033 or drop them
off at the Prebbleton Community Cottage on the day from 12 to
12.30pm. Unswapped clothes will be donated at the end of the
day. The event will be held at Prebbleton Community Cottage,
on the cnr of Blakes Rd and Springs Rd on Sunday, July 30, 1 to
3pm. $5 per entry and $10 if you have nothing to swap.
each other. All running groups
