14 Tuesday September 5 2017 Latest Christchurch news at Kim’s Fashion Quarterly from Kim Taylor —Viva La Moda Spring is in the air! A few sunny days have given us a wee taste of the new season and spring has most definitely sprung in stores. While we still have some incredible bargains in the winter sales, the store is mainly full to the brim with beautiful fresh summer styles. There are an abundance of pretty fabrics and colours from pastel pinks, blues and greens to vibrant pinks, navy and a smattering of red. Tops remain a soft easy fit so wont cling to you as the temperature rises. Dresses are strong once again this season and there is a real mixture of lengths and styles from maxi to mini and everything in between! We have pictured the pretty Vassalli garden blouse ($145) in hues of greys, blues and white. This is a nice easy top to wear with jeans or a skirt. Another pretty Vassalli top ($139) is here in blue floral and is being worn with Vassalli white jeans ($165). This top also looks perfect with blue denim jeans. The pretty green floral top with ultra-feminine styling, featuring lace detailing is by Seduce ($129). Another versatile and funky top by Seduce features neon trim to add that important pop of colour to add interest and flair ($99). A beautiful example of the longer length in dresses is shown here with the Zafina muse dress in navy and white print ($199). This dress would take you to a summer barbeque or dress it up for a beach wedding. Another repeat style from Zafina is the casual and quirky Celeste dress in black and pink on the front, stripes on the back( $169). This dress can be worn casually with sneakers or dressed up with a pair of sandals. It is a proven winning style for Zafina. All of the styles in the images are available right now at Viva La Moda so come on down.
