FIREWORKS: The Motukarara fireworks evening at Waihora Domain will feature live
music, bouncy castles, pony rides, family-friendly fun, free hay rides, bake sales,
sausage/bacon sizzle and, of course, fireworks. With support from the district council,
it will be the biggest event yet. Gates open at 5.30pm, with the fireworks commencing
after dark. No eftpos available. Various schools and community groups will be selling
