Further Information & How to Book

Thank you for taking the time to read through our 2018 selection of holidays. We hope that we

have been able to offer something of interest whether one of our regular features or a new

venture. Please remember how much we include within the stated price to make these excellent

value for money holidays. There are no hidden extras.

Special requests are carefully noted, such as those for ground floor rooms or other requests

concerning the hotels we use, and we do pass these on to the hotel concerned. We cannot

guarantee that these requests will be met due to factors that are beyond our control.

Seats are always reserved on the coach when the deposit is paid, on a first come first served

basis. Occasionally we may have to re-arrange seating to accommodate passengers with

mobility problems. We advise all customers to book early if they prefer seats close to the front

of the coach.

Fitness to Travel. Due to the nature of coaching holidays we feel that a certain degree of

mobility is required to obtain full enjoyment of your holiday. You should notify us at the time of

booking should you suffer from any disability or any difficulty with mobility which would be likely

to impair your enjoyment. We are happy to carry wheelchairs provided if we are advised at the

time of booking. If you have suffered from a serious medical condition recently you should

consult your doctor about your fitness to travel.

Passports & Travelling Abroad. When travelling out of the U.K. a passport will be required.

Since January 2006 the E111 form ceased to be valid, and you will need a

European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) to receive healthcare that becomes necessary

during your visit to an EEA country or Switzerland. The application form can be obtained from

your local Post Office which will entitle you to benefit from reciprocal health arrangements that

exist between European Union Countries. Failure to obtain a EHIC may

invalidate some aspects of your insurance if you have taken out cover.

Thank you for choosing Holmeswood Holidays.

Booking your holiday could not be easier - we are only a phone call away.

Reservations can be made and deposits or balances paid by phone using VISA or

MASTERCARD. Alternatively you may prefer to write and send a cheque, or call in at

Holmeswood and see the ‘Holiday Team’, we are always pleased to see you. Whichever way

you choose we would appreciate the enclosed booking form being returned to us completed and

signed. All initial bookings are provisionally held for a fortnight, being confirmed when we

receive your deposit (see terms and conditions on back cover).

Holiday Booking Pack. Shortly after paying your deposit you should receive from us your

documentation for the tour. This will include your insurance certificate if you have taken holiday

insurance with us, and this should be carefully read. The holiday form/invoice will show when

any balance is due to be paid to us, i.e. six weeks before departure of the tour.

Picking-up points, Exact joining times will normally be confirmed approximately 5 days prior

to departure.

Please ring if you require any further information.

WE ARE ALWAYS HAPPY TO HELP.
