Coriander Oil (Coriandrum Sativum)
Coriander, or Coriandrum sativum, is a powerful herb with so many health benefits it’s earned
the name the Wonder Herb. The oil is primarily used to alleviate pains, cramps, nausea; to
stimulate digestion and treat yeast infection. Coriander oil was tested against 12 bacterial
stems including E-coli, Salmonella, Bacillus cereusa methicillin and Staphylococcus aureus
(MRSA) by the University of Beira Interior in Portugal. The results have showen slackened
growth of these bacteria and most stems were killed. According to the researcher, coriander oil
may have an important role in the food industry and the health care to tackle various foodborne
diseases.
Coconut Oil (Cocos Nucifera)
Coconut oil is a natural plant oil with many benefits for health and weight loss. Coconut oil is
high in natural saturated fats. Saturated fats not only increase the healthy cholesterol (known
as HDL cholesterol) in your body, but also help to convert the LDL “bad” cholesterol into good
cholesterol. By increasing the HDL in the body, it helps promote heart health and lower the risk
of heart diseases. Coconut oil is vastly different from most other fats in the diet. It allows you to
last longer without feeling hungry. Metabolism of oil is similar to metabolism of carbohydrates
just cleavage of glucose is more gradual. Various studies shown the oil is especially helpful in
losing belly fat. Pure coconut oil could be used as a body lotion or a skin oil. It is easily
spreadable and has a very good absorption. It is recommended for dry and damaged skin.
Moreover, coconut oil supports healthy growth of hair and provide the hair a shiny quality.
Cranberry Seed Oil (Vaccinium Macrocarpon)
Cranberry oil contains loads of various nutrients as organic acids, vitamins (mainly C, E and K),
pro-vitamins A and tannins. It is a great antioxidant. Furthermore, it contains citric acid, malic
acid, vitamin Bx and oxalic acid. It is also rich in various mineral substances as potassium,
magnesium, calcium, phosphor and sodium. Flavonoids also heavily represented in this oil
have several amazing properties reducing the creation of blood clots, lowering high blood
pressure, improving blood flow, slowing down the progress of arteriosclerosis and preventing
arteries from clogging. If you suffer from the inflammation of the urinary tract then use
cranberries in any natural form as the oil, juice, tea, marmalade or dried fruit. Cranberries are
the number one in the natural pharmacy. At the beginning of 20th century scientists found out
that cranberries contain acids which do not oxidize in the body. If they settle in the urinary tract,
they can cover the surface of some organs and create something like a protective shield. This
mechanism does not allow the E-coli bacteria or other infections to attach to the walls of the
bladder, reproduce and spread into the surrounding tissues and structures.
Cucumber Seed Oil (Cucumis Sativus)
Cucumber seed oil is cold pressed oil obtained from cleaned and dried cucumber seeds. Once
the oil gets filtrated it results in a bright yellow colour with slight aroma of a fresh cucumber. The
can use it on its own as a skin moisturiser and as protein rich hair treatment. It absorbs almost
instantly to then, protect the skin from free radicals, to restore hydration balance, to smooth the
surface of the skin, to improve the flexibility of the skin, to nourish and stimulate skin cells and
support the regeneration of healthy skin cells. Time to say goodbye to conventional
moisturizers! The edible cucumber seed oil is used in everything; from smoothie recipes to skin
care as an effective agent treating dry skin, eczemas, psoriasis, acne, sunburns and cellulite
