Bibs, cones Players: 12 Exercise Objectives This exercise is a simple 2 players passing combination to advance the ball to a 3rd player The 3rd player in advance can be a midfielder or striker The coach will concentrate on the proper passing and receiving, and on the time of the runs Both groups will alternate Good repetition is key Organization Set up as per graphic, players in two groups A and B Each group has one player in the opposite zone Play starts with 3 passing the ball to 2 2 receives the ball and makes a pass forward to the next grid to 9 9 from a central position checks diagonally towards the ball, receives it and after a control, will pass it to the upcoming player(3) on the opposite side 3 after receiving the ball ,finishes with a pass to 5 , which will repeat the sequence going to the opposite side Coaching Points Players to keep wide Time of the run from 3 to receive the pass from 9 Quality pass from 3 to 2 9 to check and shield the ball Quality of the pass from 9 to 3 which will receive with the opposite foot.

Bibs, cones Players: 10+ Exercise Objectives Organization This exercise is useful to develop passing and re- Race ceiving of players in a realistic field position when switching the ball. It is important for the coach to emphasize good technique and in between races corrects possible Set up 2 teams of 5 players Team A (3 defenders and 2 wing backs) Team B (2 wingbacks 2 central midfielders and 1 Striker) mistakes. The race starts at one side of the field. At the coach's signal, each player will pass the ball sequentially to reach the other side. Each player must take at least a touch before passing the ball. Restart a new race going to the opposite side. Each win =1 point. The team that reaches 5 points first wins Coaching Points Quality of passes Angles First touch Speed and accuracy of passes
