PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Merry Christmas everyone
I hope Santa is good to you all.
BY ROGER HENNEBRY
HAMILTON GREY POWER
PRESIDENT
I
had in mind for this report
to analyse the benefits
for us now that we
have a new government but
I think it’s anyone’s guess as
we don't really know what
policies have been traded
up or down in this coalition.
Time will tell. All I know
is Winston had promised us
a free doctor’s visit and a
one-off eye test but whether
you need a community
services card to access
these isn't clear. The only
thing for sure is we won’t
be getting our promised
$20 a week tax cut in April!
I suppose that's politics.
Grey Power has had a
good year and I would like
to thank our volunteers for
all the hard work and commitment
they have put
in, going above the norm
when we have been shorthanded.
Also thanks to my committee
and Neben Morris
Media for printing our
magazines.
Jane and I are looking
forward to the Christmas
break when we will
Roger Hennebry
be spending some time at
the Mount and some time
with our grandchildren and
the family at the farm near
Whakatane.
Again Seasons Greetings
to you all. Regards Roger.
Easy Level - The rules of Sudoku are that you should fill a number
in to every cell in the grid, using the numbers 1 to 9. The restriction
is that you can only use each number once in each row, each
column, and in each of the 3x3 boxes. Solution page 26.
