PALM CROSSES: Please return last year’s Palm Crosses to the Church for burning by next Sunday, 11 Feb. Ash Wed is 14 February and there will be a Sung Eucharist at 7.30pm at which incense will be used. POT LUCK LUNCH Mon, 5 Feb is at the home of John & Sue Pickard at 12.30pm. HYMN SING-A-LONG in Faithspace 7 Feb at 11am, come along, join us and share in the joy of singing! THE CHILDREN’S SOCIETY say ‘thank you’ for the £407.94 we raised at our Christingle service. Last year they worked directly with more than 13,000 children and young people who were experiencing serious problems. They were also involved in making local and national policy changes which improved the lives of more than 3 million children. PARISH OFFICE ACCESS: a section of the parapet above the Colston Parade door of the Parish Office fell off recently, and scaffolding for repairs will be going up this week. Please use the Redcliff Hill entrance. FEBRUARY MAGAZINES AT THE BACK OF CHURCH: the cost of printing the magazine has gone up and we are now asking for 60p per copy. In the past some of you have paid for the year (now £6) whilst others have paid for each edition. Thank you. MILK BOTTLE TOPS: please bring your plastic milk bottle tops to Jenny Martin or leave them at the back of church. The cosmetic firm Lush will re-cycle them to make tops for their bottles. LENT 2018 LENT BOOKLETS are now available – readings, prayers, reflections and actions for each day to deepen our engagement with our Lent Appeal charity, Unseen, & enrich our spiritual journey. £2, proceeds to Unseen. LENT COURSE 2018 will be a 4-week Bible study on themes of modern slavery. Thursdays 22 Feb, 1, 8 and 15 March 8pm at the Vicarage. All welcome. Contact Kat for more information.
