Essay Contest CALLING ALL PRO-LIFE STUDENTS! © iStockPhoto.com/Uberimages American Life League’s Culture of Life Studies Program is excited to announce its first-ever pro-life essay contest for students age 18 and under. Partnering with the Institute for Excellence in Writing, CLSP is pleased to bring this educational opportunity to students across the country. “This contest is a great way to teach the next generation to speak out about their pro-life beliefs and hone their writing skills,” said Cathy Daub, director of the Culture of Life Studies Program. The Institute for Excellence in Writing is a writing program that trains students to be “confident and competent communicators and thinkers.” Andrew Pudewa, founder and director of the Institute for Excellence in Writing, believes that a pro-life essay contest is a perfect way for students to practice the pro-life reasoning they have learned in the classroom: “What we most need today are young people who both know the truth and are learning to speak it effectively to a world that desperately needs it.” With this essay contest, CLSP and the Institute for Excellence in Writing hope to encourage and empower the next generation of pro-lifers to speak out against the injustices of the culture of death.
