St Mary’s Church Choir St Mary’s Choir will be singing Evensong at Peterborough Cathedral on Saturday 10th February at 5.30 pm. A consort of voils who accompanied the RSCM Sunday evensong that was filmed about 3 years ago, will be accompanying the service and Joanna and Ben who sang in the Messiah, will be singing the alto and bass solos in the Introit and Anthem and joining in with the rest of the music. Bell Ringers Outing 5 Saturday, 28 April 2018 Winchester This year the bell ringers’ outing will be to the Cathedral City of Winchester. The coach fare will be £13 and the coach will be departing from The Green at 9.00 am. We will leave Winchester around 6.30 pm which will give you lots of time for exploring the city, shopping and visiting the cathedral. Please put your name and contact details on the list at the back of the church to book your seat on the coach. Evensong Evensong will be held in St Mary’s Church on Sunday 4th February at 6.00 pm. The service will be followed by light refreshments. Taizé Service There will be a Taizé service in St Mary’s Church on Wednesday 7th February at 7.00 pm. A Taizé worship service involves sung and chanted prayers, meditation, a period of silence and readings. Everyone welcome. Ash Wednesday There will be an Ash Wednesday service in the church at 7.00 pm on Wednesday 14th February Please return your palms to church for Ash Wednesday and place in the basket at the back of the Church.
