Mothers Union<br />

The next meeting will be held at<br />

2.30pm on Tuesday 6th <strong>February</strong> in<br />

the Mission Room.<br />

We will hold a short service to be<br />

followed by a slide presentation<br />

showing the diverse interiors of some<br />

of Northamptonshire Village churches.<br />

Anyone interested is welcome to come<br />

along and enjoy a “cuppa” with us.<br />

Christmas Parcels<br />

Thanks to this year’s house-to-house<br />

collection, together with generous<br />

donations from Finedon Parish<br />

Council, the Conservative Club, the<br />

Coffee Morning Group and a donation<br />

from Mr J Ellson, we were able to<br />

distribute 340 Christmas parcels to the<br />

over-seventies of Finedon on Saturday<br />

9th December 2017.<br />

The committee would like to thank<br />

those who helped pack and deliver the<br />

parcels, the Community Centre for<br />

free use of the building and Finedon<br />

<strong>St</strong>ores and <strong>St</strong>ation Farm who supplied<br />

the contents.<br />

The <strong>February</strong> meeting will be held in<br />

the Mission Room, Well <strong>St</strong>reet at 7.30<br />

pm on Monday 26th <strong>February</strong><br />

<strong>2018</strong>.The speaker will be Francis<br />

Terry on “Social networking before<br />

WW2, the Co-operative Women’s<br />

Guild”. Admission is as usual £2.50 for<br />

members and £3.50 for non members,<br />
