PTL Newsletter Issue 37 - February

Lamb of God PTL Parents and Teachers Working Together to Reach Higher February 2018 * Issue 37 * Dates to Remember: I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the Truth. 3 John 1:4 From the PTL President: Hello Families, 7 – Minimum Day – Elementary dismissal 11:45 am 12 – PTL meeting 6:30 pm @ TGIFridays - Aliante 16 – No school staff development day ES and PS 16 – Learning center open for preschool 19 – No school - President’s Day – No Excel and No Learning Center 23 – PTL Mom and Son Event @ Sante Fe Station Bowling 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm I look at February as a month to celebrate love. Love is all around us, sometimes it seems to take a little while to find it but it’s there. Whether in the face of your child, a newborn baby, your partner or friend we can find love. The greatest gift of love we have received is Jesus. Jesus loves each of us unconditionally; and the children just finished celebrating his love during Nation Lutheran Schools week. The week was filled with great activities and fun events. I am sure your children were as excited as mine. We have completed the first month of the new year, getting back to a busy start to 2018. We now enter a short month that seems it will be over before it starts. We can use this month to reflect on all the “loves” in our life - celebrate the love of learning, love of family togetherness and look forward to the special bond of the love between mother and son on February 23 rd and a father and daughter, the dance is March 3th. Please check out the dates to remember to the left. If you should have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me via email: Many blessings, Ashley Thompson
