SC Botanical Garden prepares for Heritage Festival October 29 Pickens County Courier’s Featured Church Of The Week First Assembly of God 810 Saco Lowell Rd., Easley Kayla Lynn Wood and Byron Jeremy Capps were united in marriage on August 20 at Pleasant Ridge St. Park at 2 p.m. Pastor Shane Oates performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Brian and Teresa Wood, she graduated from Pickens High School in 2009, and she is employed at Comfort Keepers as an in-home caregiver. The groom is the son of Bryon and Dale Capps, he graduated from Travelers Rest High School in 2008 and is employed at Renewable Water Resources in Greenville. Chris Hoxic provided music for the wedding and Shirley Handson attended the guest register. The park was decorated with lavish tulle Ribbon and wild owers. The bride chose Traci Ann Detluan as her Maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittany Crenshaw, Asheton Bowles and Brittni Murphy. The ower girl was Kayla and Byron’s daughter Natalie Brooke Capps. Attendants wore a beautiful burnt orange dress designed by “Pretty Maids”, the ower girl wore a pillow case dress made by “The Southern Child” in Travelers Rest. The groom chose Dillon Hembree as his best man. Groomsmen were Kyler Hinton, Brandon Capps, and Brandon Turner. Ushers were Brent Wood, Brother of the bride and Levi Granger, cousin of the bride. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Brian Wood. She wore a white gown that was covered in beautiful sequins and the bottom of the gown owed with rufes. The Couple held a reception at Pleasant Ridge, hosted by Shirley Handson. The Wedding cake featured wild owers and the grooms cake was the “Browning Emblem.” After a honeymoon to Gatlinburg and Biltmore House, the couple will reside in Marietta. SC Botanical Garden prepares for Heritage Festival October 29 Pickens County Courier’s Featured Church Of The Week First Assembly of God 810 Saco Lowell Rd., Easley Kayla Lynn Wood and Byron Jeremy Capps were united in marriage on August 20 at Pleasant Ridge St. Park at 2 p.m. Pastor Shane Oates performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Brian and Teresa Wood, she graduated from Pickens High School in 2009, and she is employed at Comfort Keepers as an in-home caregiver. The groom is the son of Bryon and Dale Capps, he graduated from Travelers Rest High School in 2008 and is employed at Renewable Water Resources in Greenville. Chris Hoxic provided music for the wedding and Shirley Handson attended the guest register. The park was decorated with lavish tulle Ribbon and wild owers. The bride chose Traci Ann Detluan as her Maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittany Crenshaw, Asheton Bowles and Brittni Murphy. The ower girl was Kayla and Byron’s daughter Natalie Brooke Capps. Attendants wore a beautiful burnt orange dress designed by “Pretty Maids”, the ower girl wore a pillow case dress made by “The Southern Child” in Travelers Rest.
