THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF MCDOUGALL 11. PUBLIC WORKS Nil Matters Arising. Nil 12. ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE/COUNCIL MEETING HELD WEDNESDAY, January 17, 2018 AT 7:00 P.M. i) Waste Management. Nil MINUTES ii) Report of the Environmental Services Supervisor. Re: 2017 Environmental Services Summary. This was reviewed by Council. Matters Arising. i) Mr. Hunt noted that the Transfer Station construction is complete. ii) Council requested a report to be brought forward to the next Committee/Council meeting regarding the current free dump days at the landfill site for McDougall residents and noted that as of today the free dump days at the landfill are suspended until a decision is made. Updates will be posted on the McDougall website to keep residents informed of the future practices of the McDougall Landfill. 13. FINANCE i) Accounts Payable. Concillor Malott declared a pecuniary interest regarding one item on the accounts payable listing. Resolution No. 2018/07 Malott/Constable THAT the attached list of Accounts Payable for January 16, 2018 in the amount of $316, 973.12 and payroll for January 14, 2018 in the amount of $47,347.02 be approved for payment. “Carried” ii) Hristovski, 31 Limbert Road. Re: Section 357 Municipal Tax Application. The Treasurer gave an overview. Council denied this request.

THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF MCDOUGALL COMMITTEE/COUNCIL MEETING HELD WEDNESDAY, January 17, 2018 AT 7:00 P.M. MINUTES Matters Arising. The Treasurer noted the following: - a balanced budget has been developed and a budget meeting has been scheduled for March 7 th , 2018 at 5:30 p.m. - She is busy working on T4’s and Omers reconciliations. - The Municipal audit is scheduled for March 20 - 23, 2018. - Wayne Gignac will be making a presentation on behalf of the Hawkins-Gignac Foundation tomorrow at 1:30 pm in the McDougall Council Chambers. 14. ADMINISTRATION i) Report of the Clerk C 2018-02. Re: Ad-Hoc Wellness and Pool Recreational Committee Request for a Question on the 2018 Municipal Ballot This was reviewed by Council. Councillor Malott assumed the Chair position at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Robinson expressed his thoughts and concerns regarding this matter. Mayor Robinson resumed the Chair position at 7:36 p.m. Council noted that they are not in favour of the question being put on the 2018 Municipal Ballot. It was the recommendation of the Mayor that a resolution be passed stating that a member of Council is willing to sit on a Pool Committee if formed. Council approved this recommendation. ii) iii) Ontario Good Roads Association. Re: 2018 OGRA Conference Announcement This was reviewed by Council. Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.
