Farewell 2017, Hello 2018. We welcome

the New Year by taking a look at the latest

technological trends in the Construction

industry. The most defining advancement

is the utilisation of Virtual Reality and

Holographic headsets, where architects

and engineers can now inhabit the 3D

modelling of their structures. Isn’t it

fascinating? May 2018 bring us even more

innovation.

The ability to innovate and adapt to changes is a necessity in the

evolving Construction and Property sector. Our feature coverage of

the REHDA Institute CEO Series is worth a read. The insights shared

by industry leaders and analysts will provide us with a clearer

perspective.

Residential security and home access have benefited from

technological innovation. We recently spoke to Teamware Hardware,

a prominent supplier of Ironmongery Solutions, Aluminium & Glass

Accessories and Digital Door Locks. Most of us are familiar with their

key brands, especially the St Guchi Digital Door Locks.

G&P Professionals, the engineering consultancy group, has also

presented a comprehensive feature on their role in the MRT Line 1

and Line 2 projects. The other developments that are showcased in

this issue include The Exchange 106, Kuala Lumpur and Univillage,

Semenyih.

We hope you will enjoy reading this issue. The e-version of
