on this fast track road in a
serious threat to human lives,
as grave pileups could occur
anytime due to this dangerous
pedestrian movement.
The beginning of the
LEW at Suhrab Goth depicts
a sorry picture on heaps of
dirt, litter and garbage. The
approach road to the LEW is
encroached upon by vendors
and clogged due to illegal
parking of vehicles, traffic
flow in wrong direction and
presence of illegal bus, taxi
and rickshaw stands. The
concerned agencies have
failed to keep this area clean
and free from encroachments.
There are several slum
areas running along the
LEW route and the expressway
in not properly fenced in
these areas. Resultantly,
men, women and children,
mostly street people, rig
pickers and drug addicts are
found freely moving on the
LEW, causing grave threat
not only for their own lives,
but also for the lives of drivers
and commuters.
The National Highway
Authority (NHA) that collects
millions of rupees as
toll from this expressway
has so far failed to secure
this fast track from pedestrian
movement by erecting
protective fence along it
near slum areas.
Thousands of motorists
use the LEW daily and their
lives are in danger as dangerous
pedestrian movement
on it may result into a
serious accident and pileup
any time.
Dr. Shaikh lamented the
situation that several leading
private and public sector
educational institutions had
land reserved in Education
campuses there but they
never thought to come up
with any plan for socio-economic
uplift and advancement
of under-privileged
local communities living in
nearby villages.
He said that SMIU
being a socially responsible
university would set a
good precedent for all
such academic institutions,
which were aiming
to launch their ventures at
the proposed site of
every child with polio drops to eradicate the disease. He
informed that one sample of polio was positive from Dhok
the death rate due to cancers
will increase from currently
8.2 million/year to 13
million/year in the next 13
years.
He added that for developing
countries, the situation
often goes beyond addressing
behavioral change, with
many countries facing a
‘double burden’ of exposures,
the most common of
which is cancer causing
infections. Chronic infections
are estimated to cause
approximately 16% of all
cancers globally, with this
figure rising to almost 23%
in developing countries.
Several of the most common
cancers in developing countries
such as liver, cervical
and stomach cancers are
associated with chronic
infections. Exposure to a
wide range of environmental
causes in our personal and
professional lives, including
exposure to indoor air pollution,
radiation and excessive
sunlight are also major preventable
causes of cancer.
He informed that tobacco
kills almost 6 million people
a year, an average of one person
every six seconds.
Economic Cooperation Organization: Is ECO
Another Pipe Dream Or Formidable Alliance!?
ECO whose sessions are conducted here and
there within its member countries can continue
to remain a slogan raising formal and ceremonial
alliance of regional countries like another pipe
dream or ECO can wake up and emerge as a formidable
free and independent organization with its members,
especially two key members Iran and Pakistan.
REVOLUTIONARY Iran with relatively more free
and independent rulers confronting big powers’ unjust
policies or actions can team up with Pakistan as an only
nuclear power state in Islamic world, together advancing
a revolutionary ideology from servitude towards
freedom, and growing with other ECO members in
cooperation with other regional and international
Muslim alliances, to emerge as a united dominating and
determining force which has the guts, unity and strength
to reasonably resist and block anti-Muslim plots and
economic down sliding of non-Muslim powers, within
a logical range and extent and within their own capabilities
and possibilities.
WITH Turkey and other members, ECO may weigh
heavier in though smaller regional scale, that can be
combined with revival of another dormant Non-Aligned
Movement or NAM, especially in dealing with new US
President Donald Trump and his ambitious all-
American and all-US conscious administration which is
of course best for America and Americans.
RATHER than being reactionary after unjustly dominant
economic and financial dictations by big foreign
powers, a new ECO framework and action line may
become determining and conditional for others to follow
as this organizational unity can muster.
UNDER adverse alien actions, ECO may duly and
especially consider all diplomatic, economic and military
aspects, alien policies and actions towards Muslim
world and foreign refugees, and formulate fateful organizational
strategy that may lessen those pressures and
burdens on majority of Muslim nationals within ECO
regions.
FIRST founded by its main members Iran, Pakistan
and Turkey as formerly Regional Cooperation
Development or RCD during Iran’s imperial dynasty, it
was subsequently dissolved after 1979 Islamic
Revolution. But it later surfaced as Economic
Cooperation Organization or ECO with planned expansion
and inclusion of more regional countries like
Afghanistan and Central Asian Republics.
NEW Mideast scenario and recent political indications
hold some new considerations to be thoughtful and
practical about.
POWER shifting process globally witnessed some
drifting away of allies such as Turkey from US stronghold
after Ankara alleged Obama administration was
behind an anti-Erdogan coup d’etat in Turkey.
ON verge of new American revival turning towards
a rightful reawakening of United States of America,
President Donald Trump is naturally, mostly and reasonably
for “America First”, “Americans First” and for
Americans to “Make American Great Again”.
Secondary considerations are in offing for non-
Americans, immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers
from non-American soil.
ECONOMIC Cooperation Organization or ECO
may well effort influencing Gulf Cooperation Council
or GCC and Islamic Conference Organization or ICO
Human nutrition is of increasing importance
to science. Of course, centuries of scientific
research have been devoted to ensuring that
enough food is produced for growing populations.
But with obesity and diet-related diseases on the
rise, and hunger and malnutrition affecting more
people than ever before, scientists are focusing not
only on how to feed the planet, but on what to feed
it.
As a biologist, I look at foods and diets from an
evolutionary perspective. Put simply, foods evolve
in concert with the organisms that consume them.
Consider the humble apple. By itself, the fruit's fructose
isn't particularly healthy, and when eaten in
large quantities, it increases the risk of diabetes,
heart disease, and other non-communicable diseases.
But when the fruit's sugars are digested along with
its fibres, absorption of fructose in the body slows,
and the fruit is metabolically healthier.
Through this mechanism, the apple - like most
fruits and vegetables - becomes a more perfect food.
The same logic applies to our diets. Throughout
history, foods have been created and altered by combining
flavours, colours, and nutritional values,
while diets have matured differently within families,
cultures, and communities. But, for the most part,
our ancestors chose foods for their health outcomes.
Unhealthy diets were generally short-lived because
of the poor results.
Today, however, bad diets seem to have more
sides honored, preserved and protected at least in the
wake of economy related problems, issues and cooperation.
FOREMOST challenge in economy is for ECO
members Iran and Pakistan to complete decadesdelayed
pipeline construction within Pakistan halted
due to US-led anti-Iran world boycott against supply of
Iranian gas to energy starved Pakistan. Pakistan’s considerable
industries were closed and relocated with capital
flight outside Pakistan in the wake of load shedding
without sufficient gas, electricity, petrol and other energy
supplies in past many decades. That shortcoming
inflicted losses of billions annually for several decades
and remained irrecoverable and beyond recompense.
JOINT and free decisions of ECO members and
Muslim countries with joint strategy for unhindered
economic cooperation among themselves as a suitable
response with self-reliance and self-dependence may
place Muslim interests before non-Muslim world. Such
a joint strategy is compulsory, especially in relation to a
Trump roundabout on US reawakening which is indeed
a good tide for well-deserved American nation and its
dreams. So too Islamic world has its own dreams to
realize and achieve. But that is possible only if and
when Pakistan and other Muslim countries rebel against
servitude and chose freedom with respect to their own
rights as well as rights of all other nations on earth.
Despite world media’s often cruel and initial onslaught
against present American administration, US President
may of course be sane enough to agree on it.
IF Pakistan had worked on Iran-Pakistan gas
pipeline, its nation would not have lagged behind in
progress but may have advanced considerably, as
Iranian gas would have made many dying industries
come to life in Pakistan. More importantly, 200 million
nation of Pakistan would not have suffered unbearable
pain and agony in load shedding without electricity for
8 to 16 hours a day. Most economic activity on
machines, instruments and equipment run on electricity
remained idle, killing those industrial and business
investments, man-hours, income and production. Iran
which supplies electricity to around a dozen countries
had proposed increasing Iran’s quite inexpensive electricity
supply by a few thousand mega-watts for
Pakistan. But issue of kickbacks that Islamic governance
in Iran does not permit was reportedly and
allegedly a big problem for Pakistani rulers. These ECO
members can have it resolved by sacrificing personal
benefits for the sake of national and regional good of
concerned ECO nations.
CRUX of the matter is: If Pakistan or Muslim world
had not boycotted or had not complied partially or fully,
directly or indirectly with US, UN, EU and world sanctions
on dealings and trade with Iran, but had instead
come up with their own Iran-led free and independent
policy and action for cooperation by and between all
Muslim countries to reduce and defeat non-Muslim
boycott of any Muslim country, or at least make it partially
or fully ineffective, Muslim world would live a
free and independent life, not in chains like now, just
because they did not unite and did not jointly act and
hence remained impotent in their own countries as big
prisons of big powers.
WITH joint decisions, policies and actions on ECO
regional level extended to GCC and then ICO levels,
with Iran and Pakistan on the forefront of fight for freedom
and independence, self-reliance and self- dependence
of Muslim world, it’s better to change all that now
from servitude to freedom in all fields.
OPINION
Forget fitness fads, let's learn to eat right
With lifestyle diseases, focus is not on how to feed the planet, but on what to feed it
staying power. Natural and raw foods are being
replaced by ready-to-eat meals and processed foods.
This trend toward microwaveable pre-packaged convenience
has led to the erosion of regionally specific
diets and created a more homogeneous - and
unhealthy - globalised menu, one associated with
obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and shortened lives.
Part of this shift is unavoidable; the way foods are
produced, purchased, and consumed has much to do
with how and where we live. In many countries, the
combination of larger, denser urban areas and rapidly-aging
populations has forced changes to food
manufacturing and distribution systems.
Unfortunately, many of these adjustments have had
a negative impact.
Global efforts are underway to help humanity eat
better. The United Nations has declared 2016-2025
the "Decade of Action on Nutrition," and the UN's
Sustainable Development Goals encourage comprehensive
strategies for improving health, eliminating
hunger, and promoting sustainable agriculture.
These campaigns have come amid growing recognition
within the private sector that addressing nutritional
shortfalls can be good for business. For example,
through local farmers' collectives and regional
food networks, smallholder innovators are attempting
to restore variation to how we eat. But global
summits and regional commitments are only part of
the solution. If the world's dietary devolution is to be
corrected, at least three additional measures are
urgently needed.
SRINAGAR: Dukhtaran
-e-Millat (DeM) has said
that Kashmir dispute is the
unfinished agenda of the
Partition Plan, which was
based on two-nation theory.
According to KMS, the
DeM Chairperson Aasiya
Andrabi while addressing
activists and members during
a seminar at her Soura
residence in Srinagar said,
“There is no skepticism in it
that we want to be with
The seminar was organised
on the completion of 25
Muslim Deeni Mahaz
into existence because of
two-nation theory and it
remains to be the unfinished
agenda of the Partition
added.
Terming the detention of
Dr Fakhtoo as political
vendetta, she said he is being
put behind the bars because
of his political ideology. “It
is difficult for a woman to
spend her life without her
husband. No one except a
woman would understand
it,” Aasiya Andrabi said and
added that Dr Fakhtoo was
the only prisoner to have
completed 25 years in prison
since 1931.
The Chairperson of
Kashmir Tehreek
stressed the need to understand
Dr Fakhtoo beyond
the perspective of DeM and
TOKYO: U.S. Vice President Mike Pence speaks during a joint announcement with
Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at Abe's official residence.
SEOUL/TOKYO: U.S.
Vice President Mike Pence
vowed tough new sanctions
against North Korea and
called it the world’s most
tyrannical regime on
Wednesday, two days before
he is due to attend the winter
Olympics, along with two of
the North’s most senior officials.
Speaking in Tokyo on his
way to South Korea, which
is hosting the Games over
the next three weeks, Pence
said he would soon
announce the stepped-up
sanctions in an effort to pressure
the North to abandon its
nuclear and missile programs.
The Games, being staged
80 km (50 miles) from the
heavily militarized border
between the two Koreas, is
set for an awkward political
encounter, with Pence as
well as the North Korean
leader’s younger sister
attending Friday’s opening
ceremony.
South Korea wants to use
the event to re-engage with
the North and pave the way
for talks to resolve a political
crisis widely regarded as one
of the world’s most dangerous,
with U.S. President
Donald Trump and
Pyongyang swapping
nuclear threats.
“I‘m announcing today
the United States ofAmerica
will soon unveil the toughest
and most aggressive round
of economic sanctions on
North Korea ever,” Pence
said after meeting Japanese
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
“We will continue to isolate
North Korea until it
the Saudi regime’s rights
record and its war crimes in
High-profile British
activism groups, most
notable among them Stop
the War Coalition (StWC)
and UK-based Campaign
much tougher line on the
North than its allies in Seoul,
exposing tensions that South
Korean President Moon Jaein
said.
In a news conference
in Ankara, spokesman
Ibrahim Kalin said
Turkey’s military operation
in Syria will be discussed
during the visit.
Earlier this week,
Iran urged Turkey to
stop its military offensive
in Syria, saying the
operation in the northern
Afrin region
breached Syrian sovereignty
and would
increase tension in the
war-damaged country.
Japan’s Abe, whose
nation has been within range
of North Korean missiles for
resolve to defuse tension on
the Korean peninsula,” Blue
told a news briefing.
Pence has not ruled out
the prospect of meeting
North Korean officials during
the Olympics but
President Trump has cast
doubt on U.S. negotiations
with Pyongyang any time
North Korea to hide behind
the Olympic banner the reality
that they enslave their
their next elections.
The legislation imposes
jail terms for suggesting the
country was complicit in the
Holocaust and despite
protests from Israel and the
United States, Poland’s rightwing
government has
defended it saying it is necessary
to protect the reputation
of Poles as victims of Nazi
aggression.
Israel says the law would
ban true statements about the
role that some Poles played
in Nazi crimes.
“We find this law unwelcome,
on Twitter, but gave no further
details.
However, Dunya Maumoon,
Gayoom’s daughter and a minister
of state in Yameen’s
administration, rejected
Nasheed’s comment about her
father, telling Reuters: “I just
visited my father. He is keeping
well. Nasheed is just spreading
rumors.”
Gayoom ruled the Maldives
for 30 years until 2008, when
Nasheed was elected president,
and he now stands with the
opposition in the fractious politics
of the tropical islands,
of them Muslims.
The Maldives, best known
for its luxury beach resorts,
has assumed greater importance
since China began building
political and economic ties
in its so-called “String Of
Pearls” strategy to create a network
of ports in the Indian
Ocean.
On Wednesday, China cautioned
against any foreign
meddling in the islands’ internal
affairs, after Maldives’
opposition leaders called for
intervention by its rival, India.
“The international community
should play a constructive
role from a position of respecting
the Maldives’ sovereign
rights, rather than taking
actions that will complicate
the situation,” foreign ministry
spokesman Geng Shuang said,
when asked about the possibility
of military intervention.
India, which has historically
had greater clout in the
islands, located near key shipping
lanes, has sought to push
back against China’s growing
influence.
India, which has expressed
concern over the situation, has
been silent on the calls for
intervention.

Wall Street gains as volatility eases
NEW YORK: U.S.
stocks overturned early
losses to trade higher on
Wednesday as some buyers
returned to a market
still shaking from a record
fall for the Dow Jones
Industrial Average earlier
this week.
Gains in industrial and
consumer discretionary
stocks led advances on the
S&P and the Dow.
Boeing (BA.N) rose 2.7
percent, providing the
biggest boost to the Dow,
while Amazon’s
(AMZN.O) 1 percent rise
helped lift the S&P 500.
At 10:53 a.m. ET (1553
GMT), the Dow Jones
Industrial Average .DJI
was up 249.57 points, or 1
percent, at 25,162.34. The
S&P 500 .SPX rose 19.7
points, or 0.73 percent, at
2,714.84 and the Nasdaq
Composite .IXIC was up
26.64 points, or 0.37 percent,
at 7,142.52.
The pivotal gauge of
S&P 500 volatility, the
VIX .VIX, opened at a relatively
elevated 31 points
and slipped to 21.24. The
VIX on Tuesday hit a more
than two-and-a-half year
high above 50, after trading,
on average, below 20
for months.
“We are concerned
there’ll be more volatility.
I’d characterize what
we’ve seen over the last
year as abnormal,” said
Sameer Samana, global
equity and technical strategist
at Wells Fargo
Investment Institute in St.
Louis.
704 (I)/2017 dated July 26, 2017
The time to register a company is
now four hours in one go where
requirements are submission of name
availability with three options and
incorporation application with model
memorandum of association and articles
of association. The beginning of
the financial year 2018 has brought a
fresh air of reforms as SECP has introduced
two other reforms regarding
ease of Starting a Business. One the
merger of procedure to notify the
appointment of CEO with company
incorporation procedure. Two, SECP
has further reduced fee involved in
company registration due to merger of
several statutory forms into a single
form. The current name reservation
and company registration fee for single
member company with a paid up
capital up to Rs. 100,000 is Rs.1,550
under online mode and Rs. 3,000
under offline mode. Previously it was
Rs.2,300 under online mode and
Rs.4,500 under offline mode. Both
reforms have their legal back up to
insure the protection that an incumbent
business requires.
The end result is less procedures,
lesser time in company registration
and reduction in cost of starting a business.
SECP has taken up a huge challenge
to implement the reforms on creating
an enabling business environment
at federal level. Board of
Investment and SECP are committed
to implement reforms for a well-documented
economy and a formal growing
business sector.
also present during the
meeting. Inspector General
NH&MP Dr. Syed Kaleem
Imam briefed the Prime
Minister on the overall
working and performance
of NH&MP. It was
informed that NH&MP,
since its creation, has
earned recognition at
national as well as international
level for its effectiveness
and being a corruption
free department. The
Federal government nominated
NH&MP as the best
organization for UN Public
Service Award in 2009.
Briefing the meeting on
the performance of the
Motorway Police, it was
informed that management
of traffic volume of 0.65
million vehicles per day on
national highways and
Motorways, reduction in
accidents by 44%, deaths
by 21%, injuries by 25%
and efficient response
through Emergency
Helpline 130 are some of
the significant achievements
of NH&MP from
2016 to 2017.
Zong 4G’s new vision for a healthier environment
Karachi: In an attempt to contribute for healthier environment,
Zong 4G, Pakistan’s No.1 4G network and a socially responsible corporate
entity has recently made all its offices including CMPak
Headquarters a smoking free zone.
Beginning from January 2018, the smoking of cigarettes and other lighted products
is no longer allowed in the office premises. The decision to go smoke free was prompted
from the Zong 4G’s commitment to environment sustainability. The smoking free
workplace has been welcomed by the employees as sheer commitment for the societal
and environmental wellbeing.
Smoking is injurious not only to health but also to environment. It releases toxic air
pollutants in the atmosphere, the cigarette butts litter the environment and eventually
the toxins seep into soil and waterways. Despite the mounting evidence of association
between air pollution and ill health, little attention has been paid to it.

WEMBLEY: Swansea
City ruthlessly demolished
League Two Notts County 8-
1 to seal their passage to the
fifth round of the FA Cup in
emphatic fashion.
Tammy Abraham scored
his first goal since October to
put the dominant hosts ahead
and 90 seconds later his
through ball set up Nathan
Dyer to double their lead.
Dyer added a third with a
sweet first-time strike and,
although Noor Husin
responded for the visitors
with a powerful hit,
Abraham finished a fine
team move to give Swansea
a 4-1 half-time lead.
The procession continued
after the break with goals
from Kyle Naughton, Wayne
Routledge and Tom Carroll -
whose beautiful curling
effort was the pick of the
bunch - as well as a memorable
debut strike for Daniel
James.
Swansea's biggest margin
of victory at the Liberty
Stadium sets up a fifth-round
tie away against manager
Carlos Carvalhal's former
side Sheffield Wednesday.
Swansea's priority this
season is undoubtedly trying
to secure top-flight survival
but, given their favourable
draw, Carvalhal and his players
may be forgiven for
thinking they could make an
improbable appearance at
Wembley.
in a befitting manner.”
Meanwhile, Dr Niaz
gave details regarding
Sindh Games, which will
be held here at National
Coaching Center. Nearly
3000 players and officials
will feature in the games.
Moreover, 30 different
events of men will be held
while 16 women events
will also be held during the
games.
Swansea City beat Notts
County 8-1 in FA Cup
When the Portuguese
was appointed in
December, the Swans were
bottom of the Premier
League table and appeared
destined for relegation.
And although they are
not safe yet, a run of just one
defeat in nine games under
Carvalhal has seen Swansea
climb out of the bottom
three and transformed the
mood at the Liberty
Stadium.
Their priorities were
clear with seven changes
from Saturday's league draw
at Leicester, though that did
not stop them producing a
vibrant attacking display
against Notts County on
Tuesday.

At least seven killed, 67 missing after
quake rocks Taiwan tourist area
HUALIEN, Taiwan:
Rescuers combed through
the rubble of collapsed
buildings on Wednesday, in
a search for 67 people missing
after a strong earthquake
which killed at least seven
near Taiwan’s popular
tourist city of Hualien.
The magnitude 6.4
quake, which hit near the
coastal city just before midnight
(1600 GMT) on
Tuesday, injured 260 people
and caused four buildings to
collapse, officials said.
Hualien Mayor Fu Kunchi
said the number of people
missing was now close
to 60, although an exact figure
was not provided. As
many as 150 were initially
feared missing.
Many of the missing
were believed to be still
trapped inside buildings,
some of which tilted precariously,
after the quake struck
Facing Trump's demands, NATO to
consider larger Iraq training mission
BRUSSELS: The
United States is renewing
pressure on its European
NATO allies to establish a
long-term train-and-advise
mission in Iraq, diplomats
said, reviving a divisive
issue for an alliance wary
after a decade in
Afghanistan.
U.S. Secretary of
Defense Jim Mattis sent a
letter to NATO headquarters
in January calling for a
formal NATO mission to
Iraq with a semi-permanent
or permanent command to
train Iraqi forces, according
to five senior NATO diplomats.
After a three-year war
with Islamic State,
Washington wants to
ensure the militants do not
re-emerge. While NATO
does have trainers in Iraq
already, they number less
than 20. NATO defense
ministers are expected to
discuss the U.S. request in
Brussels next week, with a
possible decision at a summit
in July.
In his letter, Mattis left
many details open but suggested
developing military
academies and a military
doctrine for the Iraqi
defense ministry, diplomats
said. Other ideas cited by
diplomats include bomb
disposal training, maintenance
of Soviet-era vehicles
and medical training.
“The United States is
pushing hard for a NATO
role in Iraq, not in a combat
role, but for a long-term
assignment,” said one senior
NATO diplomat on condition
of anonymity.
“This looks suspiciously
like another Afghanistan,”
the diplomat said, referring
to the long-running conflict
where NATO is funding
and training Afghan forces.
“Few allies want that.”
Pentagon spokesman
Johnny Michael declined
to discuss whether Mattis
had sent a letter to NATO
but said: “The administration
continues to look for
ways allies can do more to
counter terrorist organizations.”
A NATO official said
that the alliance is “looking
into how we can step-up
our training efforts”.
NATO defense chiefs
will provide ministers with
a range of options for an
Iraq mission, while NATO
Secretary-General Jens
Stoltenberg has discussed
the issue with Prime
Minister Haider al-Abadi,
who supports a mission,
diplomats said.
Hualien is home to about
100,000 people. Its streets
were buckled by the force of
the quake, with around
40,000 homes left without
water and around 1,900
without power. Water supply
had returned to nearly 5,000
homes by noon (0400
GMT), while power was
restored to around 1,700
households.
Emergency workers surrounded
a badly damaged
12-storey residential building,
a major focus of the rescue
effort. Windows had
collapsed and the building
was wedged into the ground
at a roughly 40-degree
angle.
Rescuers worked their
way around and through the
building while residents
looked on from behind cordoned-off
roads. Others
spoke of the panic when the
earthquake struck.
“We were still open
when it happened,” said Lin
Ching-wen, who operates a
restaurant near a damaged
military hospital.
steps for freedom of
Kashmir instead of delivering
speeches.
Addressing a seminar
held here in connection with
Kashmir Solidarity Day
under the auspices of
District Bar Association, he
alleged liberal faction was
aspirant of developing relations
with India instead of
paying heed towards
Kashmir issue.
Abdul Basit said over
1,00,000 people have been
martyred in occupied
Kashmir during the last
forty years. He stressed the
need to foil Indian conspiracies
regarding Kashmir
issue, saying India was trying
to divide Kashmir in
three parts since creation of
Pakistan.
Lashing out at the
Pakistani politicians, he said
these have not played their
role significantly and in real
sense. He said Jammu &
Kashmir resolution passed
NEW DELHI: Actress
Kriti Sanon, who featured
in some of the biggest hits
of 2017 but also experienced
a few disappointments,
says that failures
make her realise the value
of success and keeps her
grounded.
"I think when you go
through a failure, you also
realise the value of success
and it also somewhere
keeps you grounded," Kriti
told IANS in an e-mail
interview when asked how
she coped with the bad
times in her life.
"It also gives you a reality
check -- that there are
going to be ups and downs
in life and it's not going to
be smooth always; but as
long as you're doing what
you believe in, you're
doing things for a right
reason. I'm taking up a
film because I genuinely
love it or genuinely want
to work with those people,
or I love the character -- as
long as I'm true to that, it
doesn't matter.
"I feel successes and
failures are easily forgotten
and you move out of
it... what you learn in the
process is much more
important," added the
actress, whose films
in 1948 was not implemented.
He further said ex-
President Musharraf also
inflicted heavy loss to
Kashmir cause. He alleged
Musharraf made Kashmir
issue more disputed. He
added Kashmir issue was
started highlighting again.
He made it clear that
Kashmir issue will not
resolve until seriousness
was not showed. He categorically
said people of
Jammu and Kashmir will
not stop rendering sacrifices
for freedom of Kashmir.
