WHAT IS TRANSMISSION EFFICIENCY • It is the ratio <strong>of</strong> output power to input power. But ratio is multiplied by 100. • Transmission efficiency depends upon the line parameters. As when the line is transmitted from substation to grid station, the output power is obtained but after operating these line parameters. • Transmission losses like corona, and line losses are also possible by varying these line parameters.
