There is so much to see and do in southern Bali that you will need some help to focus! Our Insiders Guide will help with that.
4 EXPERIENCES YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS
Don't kid yourself - if you're on Bali only to experience traditional Balinese culture, Seminyak is not where you're going to do it. I suggest you leave the temples and natural beauty for Ubud and eastern Bali, and do what Seminyak is really there for - to shop, eat, laze on the beach and experience the nightlife. Enjoy! THE ROCK BAR The Rock Bar in Uluwatu has become a tourist attraction in its own right. Considered the world's most unique bar, it really is a must-see. But, be warned, it's all about the sunset, so in high season it gets packed (despite seating 800 people), which means they run queues. Get there early or you'll be seeing the sunset from the waiting area at the top! KU DE TA Amazing beach club by day, best place for sundowners in Seminyak at sunset, and world-class party place and DJs at night! Despite seemingly having been around for ever, Ku De Ta continues to stay relevant and still attracts the young (and not-so-young) and beautiful. Great people and ocean watching - start your tummy crunches now! SUNSET ON SEMINYAK BEACH This is as relaxed as it gets. Going for sundowners and a casual dinner at one of the Seminyak beach restaurants, is a great way to spend a lazy evening. The restaurants put out bean bags in time for the sunset, the cocktail menus come out and the music gets cranked up a notch. Take a deep breath, dig your toes into the sand and enjoy the sunset. SHOP, SHOP & SHOP SOME MORE Shopping in southern Bali has become much more sophisticated over the years. There are beautiful clothes, swimsuit and homeware shops now, in a way that there weren't in times past. That said, the prices aren't as cheap as they once were either, but they are still incredibly well-priced compared to most other places.
