Gansbaai (3 kilometres from De Kelders) is known as the Great White shark capital of the world. As such there are plenty of shark cage diving providers in town, some more reputable than others. For an easier ride you can use the but a magnificent way to see whales in season! Expect to fly in a small Cessna and get down low over the 4x4 road in De Plaat with spectacular coastal scenery. Alternatively the custom-built Klipspringer track offers whales, but not low enough to disturb them (or you!). The views along the whole coastline are breathtaking. a black, green and yellow route in the mountains.
