3-38 Chapter 3: Understanding the RSM LE Critical Events MIB The traps sent by the RSM SNMP Agent are defined in NCRRSMTraps.MIB. This file is installed in the C:\Program Files\NCR\RSM directory when Retail Platform Software for Windows (RPSW) is installed. For additional information about integrating RSM SNMP with your network management system, please refer to the RSM Software Development Kit. In the Critical Events section, you can change and view the threshold information for the various critical errors that were automatically set up during the RPSW installation. You can also add your own additional events.
Chapter 3: Understanding the RSM LE 3-39 Configuring the Critical Events The Critical Events are divided into sets based on the event source. You can then go through the different event sets by selecting Next Set or Previous Set. Optionally, you can select Critical Event Set and use the drop–down list in the Critical Event Set window to select the set. After selecting an event, you can select a specific error and change the threshold information. The following information is displayed in the critical event window: Source—refers to the event source. Event ID—refers to the unique event identifier.
