They meet once a month to share what they have been reading, see new books that have arrived at the library and have afternoon tea as well. Because of the popularity of the club, you may need to join a waiting list. Leeston Library and Service Centre, 19 Messines St, Leeston Adult Book Club Thursday, 6.30-8pm Book discussion groups are a fun and popular way to expand your reading subjects, meet people in your area and share your thoughts and ideas about reading. Sessions are organised to be a discussion over a cup of tea and a biscuit, rather than strict literary criticism. The group reads across a variety of genres and this helps extend our reading experience to include things we may not necessarily have chosen before.
