July 2017 Letter from the Lynches WHERE WE WERE, WHERE WE ARE GOING: WHERE WE WERE: First of all, THANK YOU!!! Plastridge’s success over 98 years is a direct reflection of your hard work and dedication to our clients whether you are in Personal Lines, Commercial Lines or Employee Benefits. You have gone above and beyond to help them, respond to them, and hold their hand through claims and complex risk issues. You have seen the changes, you have weathered them well, and now we can focus on growing and maintaining our client base. We thank you for a successful 2016-2017 and we are grateful for all you do! WHERE WE ARE GOING: We have areas we want to improve and many things we do well. We are going strong into the future with you and as we enter this new fiscal year 2017- 2018, our focus remains on our future. We have a phenomenal sales and service team, some who are new to Plastridge, and many who have years as part of the family. We are all excited to enter the new financial year with so many plans and projects and look forward to accomplishing our targets with you! You are all STARS and we couldn’t ask for a better team! WHAT’S NEW AT PLASTRIDGE? As Plastridge continues its commitment to innovation to better respond and connect with our clients, we will have new things to come that will streamline our client interface. • The transition into EPIC was almost two years ago, and with all of your hard work and effort it is even more robust and user friendly today because of your input and feedback. We still have work to do to make it less cumbersome and more efficient. This will be a focus over the next 6 months and beyond. • We look forward to growing the high net worth area of personal lines now named the ‘Plastridge Private Client Division’. We will also continue several areas of focus in commercial lines and will continue to update you on those. • We have launched our new website! With all new branding including the new logo. You will begin to see the branding changes in our proposals, stationary, signs on the building, and our marketing materials. Because of our specialty niche industry focuses, we developed specialty logos to better brand Plastridge to these industries – take a peek on page 8! WHAT’S TRENDING IN INSURANCE? Our clients expect us to share good news and not so good news, allowing us to remain their trusted advisor. Here are just a few trends in the market. We will all need to pay close attention to the changes in flood insurance and zoning, which is expected to hit Palm Beach County in September. Many clients will likely be effected.
