POLICIES & PROCEDURES RETURNS Special Order Returns and Repairs (considered non-stock orders) 1. 2. 3. 4. All special order returns require return authorization. Please call 205.345.0555 ext.1 to obtain a return authorization (RA) number. There may be fees associated with your return and certain items are non-returnable. Please place your RA number on the inside and outside of your box. If the piece is in the same condition you received it in, you will be credited the invoice cost of your item minus shipping. Customers wishing to return merchandise must include a copy of the original invoice. Return postage costs for defective merchandise will be credited, up to $8. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. Repairs can take up to 10 working days to process. Customized items (any item that we specifically make for you) are non-cancellable and non-returnable. Items that are 30 days past invoice date are non-returnable. Engraved items that are returned for credit and/or that require re-engraving will be assessed a $25 fee. Unclaimed, undeliverable or refused orders will be charged a processing fee, plus freight. 5. Returns can take up to 10 working days to be credited and processed back to your account. Stock Balance Returns (considered any items you ordered for your display stock). Benchmark is willing to stock balance your inventory if certain items are not making the necessary turnover. SHIPPING Shipping Times for Special Orders: Classic band products are shippable same day if your order is placed by noon CST. Sculpted products are shippable within 24-48 hours of your order. Any bands with engraving in them will also be shippable within 24-48 hours of your order. Diamond Style and Bridal products are shippable within 48-72 hours of your order. Sender on Shipping Label: All packages from Benchmark will come to you as “Tosyali International” being the sender. This is for the sake of security. Shipping Services & Associated Costs: Online Orders: Orders placed online will default to $5 FedEx Saver shipping, which is a 3 day service. You may select alternative FedEx 2. 3. 4. ACCOUNTING 1. Payment Terms: Benchmark offers various terms depending on the quality of credit. Payment terms are subject to change based on positive or negative credit standings with Benchmark and/or the Jewelers Board of Trade (JBT). We take all four major credit cards (Visa, Amex, Master Card, and Discover). Samples of most bands are in stock for review. Classic Bands (Memo) How to Order Samples: All classic bands are available and in stock. You may order any of these for review, either on the B2B or through customer service, and they will come to you as a “live” sample. You will be responsible for both initial and return shipping charges. The piece cannot be altered or show any wear if credit is to be expected. Sculpted, Diamond Style & Bridal (Memo) How to Order Samples: All Sculpted, Diamond Style & Bridal bands will be sent as an identical alloy (brass) sample for your review. To order, call customer service and request the style that you want to sample. You will have 10 days for review. You will be responsible for both initial and return shipping charges.
