Junior Christmas Report As the year draws to a close, I would like to reflect back on the growth of our Junior Golfers in 2017. With the help and support of our club, we have grown the Junior Development Program to the point where we are now exploring the options of having a second coach/supervisor – one for younger kids starting out, and one for more experienced players. As previously mentioned in earlier reports, we are continually growing, and this year term we have seen 18 juniors attend our Wednesday and Saturday training sessions, and even though these will finish up shortly for the year, there is still plenty happening. On the 11 th and 12 th we have juniors competing in the Golf SA Junior Open held at Blackwood and The Vines and on the 18 th and 19 th of December there is another Golf SA Junior Open to be held at Thaxted Park and Grange West. We wish players competing in these events all the best for some great golf! If you are interested in mentoring any of our Junior Golfers, or would like to caddy at any of their upcoming events, we would love to hear from you as there is a wealth of knowledge within our club that the Juniors would love to experience. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our Members a very Merry Christmas and a successful golfing New Year!
