Home Again
I must come back to England,
Because my heart is there,
To leave behind the desert sands
And breathe the cool sweet air.
I want to see the fields again,
And hear a robin sing,
To wander in the gentle rain
And hear the church bells ring.
Recalling lovely summers past,
And winter’s gentle snow,
I want to find that magic path
Where all our memories go.
