Angela & Vinny DiNicola Founders, HomeLife Senior Care Angela and Vinny DiNicola are the founders of HomeLife Senior Care, Inc., a family-run in-home care agency formed after their own experience of caring for their ailing father. He was unable to perform many of his daily activities without assistance, yet his health wasn't severe enough for a nursing home. Understanding his desire to maintain his independence, Vinny and Angela realized the invaluable service and peace of mind that in-home care can bring to seniors and their families. As a private company, HomeLife Senior Care does not answer to investors. Every priority is given to clients and their family members. Vinny and Angela actively participate in daily operations, allowing the flexibility to adapt to their clients' needs. Vinny and Angela's commitment and passion to helping seniors remain at home has earned them numerous industry awards, including Leadership of Excellence award in the Best of Home Care, a 96.9% Caregiver Satisfaction from an independent survey organization, and is rated A++ with the Better Business Bureau.
Our unique caregivers & training program Our caregivers are highly qualified and carefully selected individuals who are dependable and exceptionally caring of others. We look for compassionate, honest people and assist them in becoming the best that the home care industry has to offer. Our caregivers have access to our exclusive Personal Care Attendant and Certified Hospice Companion Aide (CHCA®) programs. The PCA designation elevates their knowledge and status in the industry and instills in them the highest standards of caregiver professionalism. The CHCA® specialized training program was designed by a hospice nurse and educates caregivers on health and dying, how to assist patients and hospice nurses with end of life care, and prepares them for the emotional consequences of caring for the terminally ill. Our caregivers receive continuous training through this one-of-a-kind curriculum, guaranteeing that HomeLife Senior Care’s caregivers remain the bar-setting home care professionals in our community. They are our employees Unlike some senior care companies (who simply serve as a referral agency and do not employ their caregivers), all of our Certified Nursing Assistants and caregivers are state-registered employees of HomeLife Senior Care; they are on our payroll, bonded and insured. Our caregivers are put through an extensive pre-hiring process that includes multiple interviews, a fingerprint background check, a drug test and an orientation process. We are always available It is HomeLife Senior Care’s strict policy that a staff coordinator and/or member of senior management are available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, 365 days/year. No matter what time you call, a HomeLife Senior Care staff member will always be there. Members of The Senior's Choice HomeLife Senior Cares' involvement with The Senior’s Choice; a nationally respected network, provides invaluable resources and constant attention to “best practices” operations. We supervise our caregivers We use advanced Telephony that enables us to monitor our caregivers work attendance in real time. Our caregivers clock in and out of their shift using the client's home phone. In the event a caregiver does not arrive for a shift as scheduled, our Telephony system will alert us instantly. We're then able to take immediate action. Additionally, HomeLife Senior Care conducts regularly scheduled (and random) client visits while a caregiver is present to ensure our clients are receiving the highest level of quality care possible in the industry.
