HomeLife Senior Care Information Booklet 2018

Our family helping yours.

Caregiver Duties WHAT SHOULD YOU EXPECT FROM A HOMELIFE SENIOR CARE CAREGIVER? Your happiness and satisfaction with our caregiver is our number one priority Home Life SENIOR CARE PERSONAL & DEPENDABLE IN-HOME CARE Your caregiver is available to cheerfully assist you with daily living activities such as: Ÿ Meal planning and preparation Ÿ Errands and transportation Ÿ Light housekeeping (includes laundry, etc.) Ÿ Personal care such as bathing, grooming, and incontinence care. Ÿ Anything else that allows you to remain at home and keep your independence (except medically related services) Our caregivers are the cream of the crop We Specialize in Alzheimers, Dementia and Hospice Care Your caregiver should provide sincere companionship including the following: Ÿ Take you to events and activities, when possible Ÿ Be there to prevent falling and other accidents Ÿ Engage in uplifting conversation Ÿ Accompany you on walks Ÿ Participate in board / card games Ÿ Provide medication reminders Ÿ Read with or to you Ÿ Assist you in attending church service Live-In Caregivers Live-in caregivers perform the same duties as hourly caregivers. However, it is important to know how a live-in works and what to expect from your live-in caregiver: The main purpose of a live-in is to provide our clients with the assurance that someone will Ÿ provide companionship for a greater part of every day and night, to prevent accidents from happening and to assist with daily activities. Secondly, live-ins are there to provide additional companionship and support. They will Ÿ bathe, groom, and perform all the duties listed above. Live-ins are paid based upon working during the daylight hours of the day. During the Ÿ sleeping hours, they are expected to get up and help with bathroom or other needs but need to get sufficient sleep to be alert the next day.

“It has made a major difference in our lives.” Our caregivers are well trained, highly qualified and carefully selected individuals who are thoroughly screened, bonded and insured. Most importantly, our priority is to have caregivers who are completely trustworthy and extraordinarily caring of others. Our caring service allows our elderly clients to maintain as much independence as possible by providing the appropriate in-home assistance and companionship, lifting the spirits of both the elderly and the family caregivers as well. Our Family Helping Yours Decisions regarding the care of loved ones often involves the entire family. Our family-owned company and a team of dedicated experts offers a compelling partnership in these important decisions. Vinny and Angela DiNicola, founders of HomeLife Senior Care, and several staff members, have faced many of the same challenges and difficult decisions with their parents that you are facing. HomeLife Senior Care was created to fulfill a passion to provide other families who are in need peace of mind. HomeLife Senior Care is not a franchise We own our own company without the operational restrictions of a franchised care company. As a result we have the flexibility to quickly adapt to our clients' needs, offer round-the-clock support and are always available.
