Location: Albuquerque is a city located in Bernalillo country in the <br />
US state of New Mexico. In the 2010 census it had a population of <br />
545,852 inhabitants. What places it as the most populated city in <br />
the state (but not its capital, which is the city of Santa Fe) and a <br />
population density of 1112 inhabitants / km².4 It is located on the <br />
left bank of the Rio Grande. Its metropolitan area amounts to <br />
887,077 inhabitants. <br />
Reliefs: Its surface is rugged, with the southern foothills of the <br />
Rocky Mountains to the north of the state (Sierra de la Sangre de <br />
Cristo), large plains to the east, and plateaus and more mountains <br />
to the south and west. The Rio Grande with its wide valley divides <br />
the state from north to south. <br />
