Wight are four traditional selfbuild
shepherd huts that have
been designed to create a unique
glamping experience. Into the
Woods Glamping is owned by
Fiona and Will Headington and
they have created a holiday
let unit called ‘Shepherd’s
Hideaway’ using four huts from
Blackdown Shepherd Huts.
Instead of the usual single hut,
each unit is a different room set
around a private decked area.
Constructed by Will on site
using Blackdown Shepherd
Huts’ self-build hut option, one
hut is a 16ft master bedroom
with double bed and en-suite,
another features four bunk beds
with en-suite, and the other two
huts are conjoined to create a
larger living room/kitchen/diner
with full facilities. All of the huts
are heated, and hot tub hire is
available for added luxury. www.

Boldscan in
Demand for
Expanding
Glampsites
FOLLOWING ITS LAUNCH at the
Glamping Show in the autumn, Boldscan’s
first Etosha Lodge from the Albion Canvas
range will soon be installed at Middle
Stone Farm near Taunton, Somerset.
Owners Catherine and Patrick Heard
already have three Tsavo safari-style tents
from the range and are expanding with
the Etosha, in a traditional sand coloured
canvas with green flysheets, and a further
two 6m wide Tsavos.
The Etosha has been designed to
give a truly flexible space, allowing easy
disabled access, en-suite bathrooms and
four or more bedrooms, sleeping eight
to 10. Varying the bedroom layouts can
increase this to 12. The covered front

Specifies Candled's
LED Candles
CANDLED’S REAL WAX LED flameless candles
were launched in 2016 and are now a feature
of National Trust properties, including
Arlington Court and Saltram House, where 70
candles have been installed. The company
is now working with Snowshill Manor in the
Cotswolds, converting chandeliers to take the
LED candles and work off mains electricity.
The candles were also used at last year’s
Leeds Castle Flower Festival, with the Academy
of Floral Art showcasing floral arrangements to
20,000 visitors.
The Candled team is delighted with
deck can be used for alfresco dining, and
additional side decks for a hot tub or
second bathroom.
The extra wide Tsavos offer enough
space to manoeuvre powered wheelchairs
and for hoist equipment. The internal
canvas partition doors have also been
widened to 900mm and can be made
wider if required.

increasing its capacity with the addition
of two huge 12m Grand Tsavos, complete
with the latest add-ons including bifold
