TAC Methodist Women 42 nd Session
of the TAC Methodist Women’s Conference
The Methodist Women are having our annual gathering for our MW Conference this year from
26 – 28 TH AUGUST, 2017 AT EMPEROR HOTEL, MALACCA.
We have planned an exciting programme for our ladies this year. After many years, we are
venturing out again. This time to Historical Malacca, hosted by our Southern District MW ladies
headed by our dynamic District Superintendent, Rev. Joseph Yesupatham and District MW
President, Mrs. Esther Amirtham. .
We ladies are not only gathering for business, where we review our past year’s work and look
ahead to the following year’s challenges, but we also gather for fellowship amongst sisters from
various churches across the nation and listen to the various work that is being carried out by
them. We are also looking forward to the Spiritual talks which this year will be handled by our
very own TAC President, Rev. Dennis Raj.
We will have two Workshops for our ladies. Financial Management based on Biblical principles
by Mr. Pandian of TMC Ulu Klang, and Stress and Depression by Dr. Daisy Rabindran of TMC
Klang. These topics should prove very useful to our ladies.
There will be the annual Bible quiz based on the Book of Exodus (Chps 1 – 20). Many of our ladies
have been studying very hard for this quiz. Plus this year, our Talentime is also based on the book
of Exodus to help our ladies grow into a deeper understanding of the book. Our ladies can be
very creative so everyone is looking forward to this!!
As a Conference, as mothers, wives, and caring, compassionate women we would also like to
reach out to the needy during this time of our gathering. We would be donating RM 1,000 to a
well deserving cause in the Southern District. For we believe that our Conference should not only
be about ourselves but also about reaching out to the community with His love.
Last but not least, there will be a mini-exhibition on the history of MW, plus activities of the
Southern District MW and book sales …….. ….with some free time to tour Historical Malacca!
So all in all, the Conference should be a jam-packed time of prayer, spiritual food, business,
fellowship, testimonies, study and fun!! So we are urging all ladies to attend (with your husbands
and children if you want to). Registration forms are available with all your local MW presidents
and local pastors.
Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of the fraternity of the women of the TAC – doing great
things for the Lord! Please keep the MW Conference in your prayers.
In His service,
