Why You Should Invest in

Why You Should Invest in Hiring a Trainee in 2018 You know your shortfall can be filled with a new staff member entering into an entry level role you’ve created, but where do you turn to find a quality employee that fits into your bottom line? Why not look at a traineeship? Traineeships combine practical workbased training with formal training to give your new or existing staff a nationally recognised qualification and the experience they need to excel in their careers. What are the benefits of a traineeship for employers? Employing a trainee is a smart investment in the future of any business. Investing in training through a trainee can provide your business with real benefits and contribute to your bottom line through customised training of staff aligned directly to your business requirements. Having staff trained your way from the start can increase your business’s efficiency and productivity. You can: • Develop a workforce the business needs by attracting and recruiting staff for your current or future skill requirements • Mentor and develop loyal and motivated staff • Train future staff and supervisors, often in a short space of time • Increase productivity and staff retention There are a range of incentives available for eligible employers including financial incentives of up to $4,000 (eligibility criteria applies). An Australian Network Provider can assess your eligibility for incentives. What are the benefits for trainees? • Trainees earn money whilst they are studying • Training is done on-the-job allowing for practical application in a real work environment • Training is competency based meaning that a trainee can finish their training once the employer, trainee and the Registered Training Organisation agree the trainee is competent • Trainees who successfully complete receive a nationally recognised qualification With no costs involved to establish a traineeship via ET Australia Training College, it makes sense to contact us so you can explore traineeship options for your business. We even offer a free traineeship recruitment service (conditions apply). Keleah’s Early Learning & Development Centre Enjoying Quality Traineeship Service Delivery From ET Australia The Directors of Keleah’s Early Learning and Development Centre first approached ET Australia after taking over an established childcare centre on the Central Coast late in 2015 to assist with their immediate recruitment requirements. Often, despite the benefits traineeships can provide to business, the stress and strain of managing the recruitment process effectively can be a challenge for time poor business owners. Recruiting new staff can be both a costly and time-consuming exercise and the ability to outsource this to an experienced education provider like ET Australia who have a pool of job ready students is reassuring for many businesses. For businesses who are facing change, developing or taking on new projects, ET Australia tailored services such as recruitment provide vital support to businesses on the Central Coast. Keleah’s Early Learning and Development turned to ET Australia to help manage their traineeship process from start to finish. This included advertising their vacant traineeship position, screening and shortlisting applicants, and providing the staff at Keleah’s with facilities they required to interview shortlisted candidates. The process was an enormous success, and Keleah’s employed a CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care trainee, who is still with the organisation today. Leah from Keleah’s said “Michelle from ET was extremely helpful and approachable. There was no obligation for us to offer shortlisted applicants employment if they weren’t right for the traineeship position on offer. Toni our ET Trainer is great with the trainees and we like the flexible on the job delivery mode”. Keleah’s Early Learning and Development now host work placements for ET Australia childcare students and recently employed a student casually as a result of their demonstrated professionalism and abilities witnessed during placement. 15 Toni our ET Trainer is great with the trainees and we like the flexible on the job delivery mode
