Prebbleton Hall, 617 Springs Rd, Prebbleton My Tale To Tell Canterbury Oral Histories Tuesday, February 27, 10am Presented by Stephanie Frewen. My Tale to Tell gives you the chance to record your own personal history. Join a writing workshop to be held at the Darfield library over six weeks, that will help you to prepare your stories to be recorded such as family history, school memories, and major events. Participants will then go to the recording studio and record their oral histories to keep and share with family and friends. Stories will also be aired on radio through a new show My Tale to Tell, and be available as a Go along to the Faringdon Summer Skate Jam Tai Tapu. A great way to introduce children and young people to skating with free gear hire, music and coaching from experienced skaters at Cheapskates Skate Skool. Prizes up for grabs for a variety of age groups. Something for all abilities. There is a learn to skate aspect where participants can hire a skateboard or inline skates, as well as safety gear for free, and team up with one of Cheapskates’ friendly instructors and either get some tips on the basic skills or a helping hand learning some new tricks.
