Everyday Objects
Photographers are driven to capture the world around them.
This motivation isn’t simply a process of pointing a camera
and clicking a shutter.
It’s the mind and the mechanics.
Ask 50 photographers to photograph the same mundane
object, and you will receive 50 interpretations of that object.
That is the nature of the art, and why photography is such an
important art form in today’s realm.
We all see the world differently. Photography has given us the
opportunity to share that vision with others.
This was the thinking behind the latest GuruShots book
challenge, “Everyday Objects”.
How would our photographers interpret a pair of shoes, a
pen, a light bulb, a padlock, a paintbrush, the eye of a needle,
or even some simple household string?
When tasked to enter their very best photographs of “Everyday
Objects”, the results were nothing less than amazing.
Are you ready to experience the world of ‘Everyday Objects”
