HRP Equestrian celebrate
a record breaking 2017
Horslyx take on Floors
Castle sponsorship
Horslyx are thrilled to be
sponsoring The National
Schools Equestrian Association
day at Floors Castle
International Horse Trials in
May.
Based in the parkland at Floors
Castle in the Scottish Borders
the event has been running
for over 25 years and has
grown in size to now include
various competitions, as well
as showjumping qualifiers
affiliated to The National
Schools Equestrian Association
for their championships held in
Buckinghamshire.
Horslyx will be offering a
variety of prizes for these
classes from 1st place down to
6th place. The hotly competed
events on the Saturday are
run for all ages and abilities,
from 60cm to 1m 10 for both
individuals and teams.

Wardle said “We are really
pleased to be supporting this
event and riders at grassroots
level. The NSEA competition
does a great job at offering the
stars of the future a unique and
fun competition to be part of.”
In 2017 Floors Castle
International Horse Trials had
over 150 rounds jumped in the
NSEA competitions with riders
representing schools from
Perth in the North, to Durham
in the South and everything in
between.
Alongside the sponsorship
of the classes Horslyx will
be attending the event with
a trade stand to meet and
greet competitors, as well as
members of the public who
would like to learn more about
their range of Balancers and
Mini’s.

nominations have flooding in.
Runner up at the Kent Women
Business Awards, Kent Invicta
Chamber Awards, Natwest Great
British Entrepreneur Awards and
Independent Business Awards
Kent, plus an exciting nomination
for a Queens Honours Award for
2018.
Helen said, “It is such an honour
that people have been so
impressed by my invention that
they have gone out of their way to
nominate me for an award, I am
very proud of the winged saddle
pads, they were born out of my
love for horses and to provide a
solution to a problem.”
The saddle pads are the only
international award-winning
scientifically proven saddle
pad, which lead to them being
voted the winner and most
innovative product by master
saddlers, veterinarians, equine
physiotherapists and top equine
industry professionals at BETA
International 2016.
HRP Equestrian was set up by
Helen Ross in 2014. Their saddle
pads are scientifically proven
to exert zero pressure on the
horse behind the saddle, over the
lumbar spinous processes and
means significantly less pressure
in all gaits when compared with
conventional saddle pads.

All Set for
Nottinghamshire
County Show
We hope that all equine fans will enjoy the changes at the
Nottinghamshire County Show this year. We are creating a
new ‘Heavies’ Ring closer to the ‘centre’ of the Show so that
fans of those magnificent horses will have ample opportunity
to watch them being prepared for their classes. The main
attraction of the Show also features horses; Atkinsons Action
Horses will perform twice daily and they bring horses they
have trained to appear recently in film and TV, including
Poldark, Victoria and Peaky Blinders.
The equine schedule is available now but please note that it is
ONLINE ONLY.
There will be no printed schedules and the deadline for Light
Horse & Pony and Heavy Horse Classes is 30 March 2018.
We are also delighted to announce a new Ridden Heavy Horse
Class which is an Equifest Qualifier. All judges are confirmed
