FRANK WILSON & THE MOTOWN-PHILLY EXPERIENCE SATURDAY, APRIL 21 AT 8 PM JUDY SCOTT SATURDAY, APRIL 28 AT 8 PM Come out for the Motown-Philly Experience with Frank Wilson and friends as they bring you the music of The Temptations and The Four Tops as well as The Drifters, The Coasters and that ‘Philly’ disco sound. With fantastic vocals and terrific dance routines these three entertainers will have you cheering for more. The group has appeared at many prestigious venues such as the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino as well as on many of the best cruise lines. An outstanding entertainer with a fabulous voice, Judy Scott was performing at New York’s famous Copacabana when Jerry Lewis caught her act and immediately signed her to appear with him at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas and at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach. Audience response was so great that he then featured her on his next television special. She has toured nightclubs throughout the United States and the world, performing with such famous personalities as Jackie Mason and David Brenner as well as performing with Buddy Hackett at Resorts International. Her career also includes television and appearing with her fourteen-piece band, Sentimental Journey. Opening for Judy is pianist Gary Clark. Gary brings The Great American Songbook, Broadway’s musicals and the great film scores to life with his infectious and joyful arrangements. Music critics have hailed him as a renaissance man because his musicality is so remarkable. Tickets can also be purchased seven days a week at the Box Office from 9:00 am – 10:30 pm. On the night of a performance, only that night’s tickets will be sold for one hour and 15 minutes prior to show time. The Box Office will remain open until 10:30 pm for all other available tickets. In the event a show headliner cancels, NO REFUNDS will be given when a comparable show is scheduled. If tickets are purchased online the $1.00 service charge will not be refunded. A look at the early career of Thurgood Marshall, the first African- American Supreme Court Justice as he tries the case of a black chauffeur accused of the sexual assault and attempted murder of his white socialite employer. The film is a heartwarming and inspirational drama about Auggie Pullman, a boy with facial deformities who starts out 5th grade by mainstreaming into a public school. Told with great compassion, the film demonstrates how his classmates and the greater community find the compassion to accept him. The movie stars Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson, Jacob Tremblay, Izabela Vidovic and Mandy Patinkin. I, TONYA R, 120 MIN. (RATED R FOR STRONG LANGUAGE, SOME VIOLENCE AND NUDITY). A darkly comic telling of the unbelievable events that led to the scandal that ended National figure skating Champion Tonya Harding’s career. An extremely entertaining film with award nominated performances from Margot Robbie portraying Tonya and from Allison Janney her mother with Sebastian Stan and Caitlin Carver rounding out the cast. MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS PG-13, 114 MIN. This suspenseful murder mystery with an all-star cast takes place on the luxurious Orient Express as it travels from Istanbul to London. On board is famed detective Hercule Poirot who must solve the murder of one of the passengers. The fun begins when everyone aboard the train becomes a suspect. Kenneth Branagh, Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Johnny Depp, Judi Dench, Michelle Pfeiffer and Josh Gad portray the suspected travelers. WONDER WHEEL PG-13, 101 MIN. Woody Allen wrote and directed this drama that takes place in Coney Island in the 1950s. The film tells the story of a middle-aged carousel operator, his long-suffering wife and the visitor who turns their lives upside-down. A dark comedy/drama that wrestles with questions of patriotism, family and grief as a former Navy Corpsman decides not to bury his son slain in the Iraq War in Arlington Cemetery but to take him home to suburban New Hampshire and bury him there.
