Letter from the president “ Wow, what a year. This Spring marks one year since AMA has returned to UCF and we have really made a splash. Attendance and awareness of our club and our events have increased over the past 12 months. We have reached students of diverse majors and skills, and have developed partnerships with local professionals. This all would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our amazing board, faculty adviser, AMA Orlando, and the Department of Marketing. This year, one of our top major accomplishments was running a joint marketing event with the two other UCF marketing club along with the department of marketing. This event called honored -outstanding marketing students. We’ve also continued developing relationships with the two other organizations and the Department of Marketing to continue to grow this event in the future. Attendance and awareness of our club and events have increased over the past 12 months. Jack Kimmel, AMA at UCF President Our successes of the year did not without its challenges, funding being a primary difficulty. This luckily has been changed and we can now focus on collecting funds and growth. Gaining awareness was also a challenge as we were brand new, which has also changed as of late thanks to our excellent membership team. Overall, I am very excited for AMA at UCF’s future. We have made a major impact on the future marketers to come from UCF and I see AMA continuing to do that for many years to go. It has been my honor and pleasure to serve as President.
