ommunity social impact + community outreach As part of our organization, we value the importance of getting our members involved in the local Orlando community as well as the UCF community. Goal: Increase collaboration with other student organizations atUCF. Result: Organized event with two other marketing student organizations that will become an tri-annual event. AMA along with SMPS and sales club created the event Brand U from the ground up for the first time in Fall 2017. Brand U allowed marketing students to network as well as recognized top students within the major. Both students and faculty enjoyed a night of marketing recognition and awards. This program really brought the marketing community together and our chapter was very proud to be a part of it. Goal: Engage in the community outside of marketing. Result: Members of our organization offer their expertise and skills to the community As marketing students, many of us have unique talents and knowledge in related programs such as Adobe Suite and web design. Because of this, we have members who help other students and organizations that may not have the same background knowledge in using these tools.
